Ryan is a visual artist living in Miller Beach Indiana.  Working primarily as a painter and illustrator her works are dark and humorous observations on the absurdities of being human. Her artistic development began as a young child as both of her parents worked in illustration and advertising.  While early on she mimicked the fine lines and clean edges of her parent’s editorial work she branched out as a young adult finding inspiration in the chaotic and a passion for texture. 

Her work is heavily influenced by Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring, and Gustav Klimt drawing on them as inspiration for work heavily layered with emotion, introspection, and human observation.
